Our History
The Haywood Community Band has been sharing the joy of music with audiences for over 20 years. Founded by dedicated musicians, the band began with just 10 members and steadily grew into a vibrant ensemble of 66 players. Today, under the direction of a professional conductor, HCB performs a wide range of music—from classical works and American favorites to contemporary pieces. Through programs like LINKS and annual scholarships for band camp and college students, the band remains deeply committed to giving back to the community.
