Send shivers down your spine with a haunting concert by the Haywood Community Band at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, at First United Methodist Church.
“We take you on a musical journey of terrifying tales and friendly fun with a haunting program spooked with fear and danger,” said conductor Steve Razo. “It’s musical drama full of the unexpected.”
Band members and audiences alike are encouraged to get in the spooky spirit with Halloween costumes. Those with the best costumes are in for a treat.
The program includes music from Harry Potter movies, “Phantom of the Opera,” The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Music for the Darkened Theater, The Cave You Fear, March Diabolique, In Search of Ancient Aliens, and a rousing surprise.
