COMMUNITY SUPPORT

The Haywood Community Band (HCB) has performed instrumental concerts for over two decades in Haywood County. Founded by life-long, local musicians, HCB introduces a variety of compositions ranging from the classics to the Great American Songbook to current hits.

Bringing melodic delight is only one goal for the 60+ member ensemble. HCB encourages personal growth and career interest for young performers in need. Providing over 100 instruments for students in middle and high schools annually, HCB has awarded over $40,000 to talented music makers to attend summer band camps and seek college music degrees. These amazing gifts are provided by our members, audience and sponsors.
